About Me
I have been writing books ever since I can remember – with one of my first readable stories being a Winnie the Pooh fanfiction (there were a lot of spelling mistakes). I love to hang out with friends and family, but I also need my alone time to recharge, with a good book or a favourite movie. When I’m not working, writing or studying my Masters of Editing and Publishing, I’m usually driving somewhere. I often do the weekend trip to my hometown in Kingaroy, where I see my Great Dane Ophelia, Bertie the chocolate Labrador and Ganesh the stoic Tabby.
About Work
Since my first stint as a journalist in my hometown, getting a peek into the life of a local author, I realised I wanted to make a change. After years of merging into the book publishing industry, I’ve found my place as an Author Marketing Mentor. Talking to authors, planning events, and helping books reach new audiences is one of my favourite things to do, and work finally feels like home to me.
